Okami Style Landscape by Yukki-Chan Okami Style Landscape by Yukki-Chan
The second Project in my illustration class, Landscapes. We had to make one in the style of something so I chose Game art annnnnd since I was highly addicted to Okami (still am) I decided on this style since I like Sumi e but it would have been to plain for me so Okami's style really suited what I wanted. This took over a week to do but it was definatly worth it. All from my head woohoo!

Lets see first I sketched out the landscape then inked it in with a brush and indian ink then tea stained the whole thing along with some random sprays to give it texture. Then added the colour with Chalks, Inks, Watercolours and copic pens. Whew

Taken with a Camera as this is A1 A1 PEOPLE!!! no way I'm scanning it again.

hi i'm making a trading card game and i was wondering if i could use this drawing for a card i will give credit where it is deserved and plus its a easy way to spread your art plus you can still use them for your project the card game is called Paragon Galaxy the concept is a galaxy built where all these worlds exist for the perfect galaxy . The galaxy will grow and grow until this perfection is formed

very nice, like the use of swirls for clouds make me think its in a rain storm in the clouds but its still very good. A+!

I love the fog and trees. I wish I had that kind of art media laying around, I can tell you spent a lot of time on it. Its beautiful. It gives you that peaceful feeling yet looks misterious at the same time. I'm adding that to my favorites!

Well, I usually peruse the photos, but this one really caught my eye. Love how you did the fog...kind of similar to how Japanese represent a wave, but much softer and I like the connection.

aww thanks so much, and for the fav too! and yeah big paper used to scare me too but I find I can't work as well on small paper now because you can put so much detail on a bigger piece of work without it getting messy
